Focus on yourself, not on others.
Personality Myth
What’s your opinion on the
personality myth? Majority of the people think your personality really
describes you as a person and your action. It’s your core, it’s who you are.
They say the traits you have are applied on your personality, good people can
make bad decisions. Some say that your personality can change due to things
that have happened in the past or the actions aren’t yours it’s what you’re
surrounded by. What’s going on in that time, peer pressure, or just a bad
environment? Others say there are no good or bad people. Everyone has a
bad/evil side to them.
Walter Mischel, a young
psychologist. Who knows people have different personalities than him and they
can be defined by certain traits. He
also believes that the traits you have are important. They are with you for the
rest of your life, they’re stable and different depending on situations. Lee
Ross says that people live the same from day to day. Same things every day the
same your personality is going to be the same every day.
I think personality really does describe who
you are a as person. I also think that personality can change whom you are due
to things that have happened in the past. In addition, I think that there are
no good or bad people in the world, at some point everyone does something good
or bad. Sometimes it is not about your personality it is the things that
surround you. If you are hanging around bad people, you are probably going to
do something bad. It’s almost like peer pressure, you’re almost forced to do something
cause you keep getting bugged about it.

I like how your flash fiction is telling us to believe to succeed for ourselves and not for other people. This connects really well to your picture with everything else sort of blurred out except you and your reflection, it shows that you want to focus on yourself and your goals and not worry about everyone else. Also this idea sort of goes along with your "I Say" and the people your choose to hang around could either help or steer you away from your goals.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked this very much. I really like the picture you chose because i feel like it fit perfectly with the message you are trying to portray. The flash fiction is short and to the point explaining that you should be focused on yourself and not worry about the people around you. A very good message.
ReplyDeleteNathan-
ReplyDeleteI think that your choice in a short writing was ver clever and works well with the picture. What made you decide to under line it? My thought was that maybe it's because it's an important statement or maybe cause it's the main focus. Either way, i thought it was very clever. Your one pager also worked very well with the writing and the image.
Good work!

Lit. I understand what you mean what you have showed in your writing. Be yourself and don't change for anyone, and that I totally agree on. I know you very well and you do you and you are hard worker for sure. Making dat bank errday boii! Your beats also go hard, with practice you can get somewhere with them beats.
ReplyDeleteI really love your portrait. You did a great job of relating your flash fiction and your portrait. Your rationale explains it perfectly. The message is also great, nice work.
ReplyDeleteWow. You're image looks awesome. There's so much dimension and depth. The vertical lines of the puddle and the sky walk (I think?) point directly at you. Happy coincidence or part of the master plan? Either way, the composition is terrific.
ReplyDeleteI really like what you did with your flash fiction and picture. Also, you did a really good job at describing your picture in your rationale. Your "They Say/I Say" is also really good because you use more than one source for the "He/ She Says."
ReplyDeleteWow... let me start off by agreeing with Mrs. Becker, your image is amazing. The editing of it is awesome and it ties really well into your flash fiction and rationale. Good job.
